Terms
The terms of use.
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms are between you and Wade Technology, which provides Red Carpet. By hosting an event with Red Carpet, or using a gallery it makes, you agree to them.
The service
Red Carpet is a photo booth that runs in a web browser on a tablet, laptop or phone. Higgins, its photographer, directs each guest. After each turn the booth shows a QR code that opens that guest’s photos on their own phone, without an app or an account. Hosts get a gallery of the whole event, controls to run the booth, and the option to email the gallery link to their guest list.
Prices
- The Event: $49 per event.
- The Event, with Higgins AI: $99 per event.
There is no checkout, and nothing is charged on this site. Hosts start by asking: Request access, and each request is approved by hand.
Every event starts unpaid. Until an event is upgraded, its photos carry a small “Red Carpet · wade.technology” mark in the corner, drawn into the photo when it is taken. On a paid event the host can switch the mark off for photos taken after that.
What you agree to as a host
- Your guests know. You tell your guests that a photo booth is taking pictures, that an AI looks at the camera to direct them, and that photos can be shared by link. You get any consent the law where you hold the event requires, including a parent’s or guardian’s for children.
- Your guest list is yours to send to. You only add people you invited, who would expect to hear about your event.
- You use it lawfully. You follow the rules of your venue and the law where you are.
- You look after the links. Anyone holding a gallery link or QR code can see what it opens. Share them with care, and hide or delete any photo that should not be seen.
- You keep your sign-in to yourself. What happens under your account is your responsibility.
What nobody may do
- Photograph people where they have not agreed to it, or somewhere they would expect privacy.
- Use Red Carpet to harass, humiliate or sexualise anyone, or to make anything unlawful.
- Upload or send anything you have no right to use.
- Try to get into events, photos or accounts that are not yours, or to disrupt the service.
- Use the guest-list email for anything other than the event’s own photos.
We may suspend an event or an account that does these things.
Your photos
The photos belong to the people in them and to the host, not to us. We store them and show them to the people you share them with, only to run the service. The privacy page says who can see them and how they are removed.
Higgins is an AI
Higgins’s directions and reactions are written by an AI model as the photos are taken. He will sometimes get things wrong: miscount a group, misread a pose, or say something that misses. When the AI is slow or unavailable he falls back to scripted lines. Nothing he says is a statement by us about anyone in the frame.
As it is
We work to keep Red Carpet running well, but we provide it as it is and as available. We do not promise it will be free of faults or interruptions, that every photo will be taken or saved, or that it will suit a particular event. Keep your own copies of photos that matter to you.
Limits on our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses — a missed moment, a spoiled evening, lost business — and our total responsibility to you for anything to do with an event is limited to what you paid us for that event. Nothing here limits any responsibility the law does not let us limit.
Changes and ending
We may change Red Carpet and these terms. When the terms change, this page and the date at the top change with them. You may stop using Red Carpet at any time, and ask us to delete your events and photos.
The law
These terms are governed by the law that applies to the agreement between you and Wade Technology. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
